What if I don’t like my photos?
No, worries. If you don’t like your photos, there is no obligation to buy any. Alternatively you can have another photo shoot at no cost at all to you.

Do I have to order on the day?
We have allocated time after your photo session to view your photos and to place an order. If you think you may need to make another time to view your photos, mention this to your Flash Fotos team and they will help you out.

Can I cancel my order later if I change my mind?
Please choose your photos wisely as each order is custom made for you. We do not accept cancellations or variations of orders.

Can I buy more photos later?
We generally do not guarantee to hold your photos on file for any longer than 4 weeks.

What are my payment options?
We have quite a few different payment options. You can pay for your photos on the day of your shoot by cash, card or cheque. Alternatively, pay a deposit then you can fix the total up on delivery or pick up (app 4 weeks later). We have also finance options and a lay-by system available for your convenience and budget.

How long will my photos take?
If you are not on a credit card instalment or Edebit payments your photos will take approx 4 weeks before they are ready to collect or be posted. If you need your photos ready by a certain date please let the staff on the day of your shoot know so your order can be ready for you.

Can I change my appointment time and rebook?
We require 72 hours notice to cancel your appointment. We will only let you rebook your appointment when you have given us enough notice.

I am overweight, will I still have nice photos?
Absolutely. Make sure you choose your clothing correctly eg to cover arms etc. The team at Flash Fotos are professionals and will make you look like a supermodel.

Can I keep my makeup on and go out after?
The makeup we apply is specialized for photography and is a lot heavier than normal everyday make up. Some people feel it is too heavy to wear after the photo shoot. If you are comfortable with it however, you are welcome to paint the town red with your glamour face on!

Do I have to pay the photos in full on the day?
No you don’t. However you are required to pay a deposit, most people use their booking deposit.

Do I need to bring my own clothes?
Yes, please bring in your own clothes. We don’t feel we can match everybody’s taste and shape. However we have lots of fabrics and furs in the studio for you if that is the look you are going for. Our bookings team will help you decide on your outfits when they do your Style Profile with you before your shoot.

Do I need to bring and wear shoes?
Yes, do bring in some shoes, casual and dressy. Shoes complete the shot.

How do I best prepare myself for the shoot?
Think about what the photo shoot does for you and what you would like to take home from it. Maybe you want to bring in photos from magazines to share your inspiration with your stylist.

How much are the photos?
Our images start from $175 for a 12”x 8” picture which we are sure you will find extremely competitive in the market place. We have lots of options available and different products to choose from. The photographer will go through our pricelist on the day and explain all your different options.

Can I bring a friend?
You can always purchase an additional photo session for a friend and have your session together. You have to make sure to arrange your session together as we need to schedule enough time for your shoot.

Can I bring my pet?
We would love you to bring in your pet for your photo shoot. However, please check with our bookings team for our Road Team studios if the venues allow this or not.

How long does the photo shoot take?
A normal photo shoot will take between 2.5 and 3 hours. Larger groups can take longer. Please ask our friendly staff if you are unsure.

Can I have photos in Black & White?
All our photos are digital, your photographer will change your images into a few different effects such as black and white, sepia, blue tone and many more.

I have got scars/ acne/ blemishes. Will they show in my photo?
All our images get digitally retouched which means blemishes, acne, scars etc will not show on your photo if you do not want them to.

Can I do my hair & make up myself?
If you like your hair in a certain way we are happy for you to do your own hair. As the makeup is specialized for photography we will do your make up. Please feel free to discuss any issues with our makeup artist so she can make we know what you like and don’t like.
